Every child is an artist. The problem is how to remain an artist once we grow up.

The only time Scott's creative juices got him in any kind of trouble was when he was a kid growing up in a suburb town of Dayton, OH. His mom asked him to cut the backyard bushes before the days end. Kind of a boring job unless you cut smiley faces in them. Since his mom always supported his creative works, he thought she wouldn't mind the new look. Turned out not to be the case.Scott doesn't consider himself a professional in really anything, but he never sees himself as an amateur, either. Somewhere in-between, I guess. He finds that painting enables him to feed the creative cravings and to let go of constant thoughts (I mean he doesn't hear voices or anything). His first purpose with his creative works is to bring joy to someone else. Everything gained after that is a bonus.Scott lives in Greensboro, North Carolina with Amy (his wife), Kennedy (his little girl), Solo (his energetic lab), and Kenna (his inherited cat by marriage). When not painting, you can find Scott experiencing everything life has to offer and goofing off a lot along the way.

It is important to use our gifts and talents to better the lives of those around us. A percentage of profits from sold artwork are set aside to give to those in need.
To get to the southern most jungle village of Crique Sarco in the country of Belize, you'll need three hours of flying in a plane to Belize City, two hours to find lost luggage and to rent a "gently" used car, two hours of driving to San Ignacio to pick up Brainard August (a gringos favorite Belizean), seven hours of driving to Punta Gorda, 15 minutes getting gas and a candy bar, and finally two hours of driving down a dirt road. Ahhh, my home away from home!
Currently I am committed to helping the people within this village to move forward. They are amazingly happy and healthy people, but face economic hardships because of lack of transportation, government support, educational materials, school accessibility and more.
In addition to global contributions, I'm also committed to local needs, whether donating to nonprofit organizations, or simply giving to a neighbor down the road.
"Eat, drink,
